Out-of-Home Programs

Our community services and programs allow families dealing with cancer to enjoy activities outside of the home as well as provide access to additional resources and support.

Wellness Support

Wellness Support

Cuddle Wellness Support provides families with cancer access to massage therapists, nutritionists, psychologists and additional wellness opportunities that are available in their community.

Creative Play Backpacks

Creative Play Backpacks

The Cuddle Backpacks program provides backpacks filled with keepsake craft items to families who are not able to take advantage of our in-home support services. Cuddle My Kids partners with community and city hospitals as well as hospice centers to give backpacks to children who have a parent or sibling with cancer. Backpack contents may vary.

Cancer Comfort Kits

Cancer Comfort Kits

The Cancer Comfort Kits program provides bags filled with purposeful items aimed at easing stress related to treatment. These kits are distributed to our clients, area hospitals and cancer centers.

Journaling through the Journey

Journaling through the Journey

Art Journaling Workshop focuses on mindfulness and intent and combines mixed media art therapy with the therapeutic effects of journaling. This unique combination of expressing yourself through journal and then covering the words with layers of mixed media art (collage, stencils, paint, chalk) is meant to relieve anxiety, stress and worry, all factors that can affect the recovery process.

This program is open to all cancer patients and caregivers. Please visit our Events page to find sign-ups related to this program or email info@cuddlemykids.org for more information or to attend. This program is also available for groups.

Cuddle Reunion

Cuddle Reunion

The annual Cuddle Reunion celebrates the survivorship of our clients and their children. Every year we invite all CMK children to enjoy a few hours of play and entertainment while mom/dad can enjoy a massage or wellness treatment and a bite to eat.

Cuddle Cares

Cuddle Cares

Our Cuddle Cares program enables parents and caregivers to drop off their children at local Paint your Own Pottery or other creative locations. Cuddle Program Administrators will be on hand to ensure a fun, creative and supportive day. Food and beverages are included. Space is limited and on a first-come basis. Please check the Calendar for upcoming events and registration forms.

Cancer Care Plan Consult

Cancer Care Plan Consult

Every family receives an individualized consultation with our Nurse Navigator to decide which CMK programs are right for them. Patients receive comfort, compassion, and an informative services plan to help ease the burden of trying to navigate their disease. The Care Plan connects families with CMK programs as well as other local resources.
